Joe Jonas Appreciates Fan Support For Fast Life

Joe Jonas seems to be getting all the support he needs from his fans as he embarks on releasing his solo album, Fast Life, this September. The album will be an intimate look at the inner monologue of the Jonas Brother.

While it's a bit of a scary process going at it without his brothers, he said fan feedback is making the transition a lot easier. "I was really excited," he told MTV News about hearing fans' comments. "I love the world we live in where you can know what people are thinking right away."

He added that while much of the response has been positive, he's also cool with any criticism that might come his way. "I guess you like it and you don't like it, but I like it because [my single] 'See No More,' when it released on iTunes, I got the reaction right away of what people are thinking."

The song's video also got tons of feedback, but long before the video dropped, it took a little work getting it all together.

"The video kind of came together with a concept I had using a house as a metaphor to show destruction of a heart or of the mind," he explained. "The first director didn't work out. I kept fighting to find the right treatment."

That right treatment put Joe in an "almost dream world with a house where the house is falling apart, the house is on fire, there's explosions," he explained. "And I'm a guy, so I was immediately really excited about that."

So, how does "See No More" co-writer Chris Brown feel about the release? "He's really pumped for the song and he gave his support, which was really cool," Jonas said.

Joe Jonas Confirms That He Doesn't Wear His Purity Ring Anymore

Joe Jonas called into an Australian radio show to promote his first single "See No More," and the show's hosts straight up asked him about his old purity ring. The Jonas Brothers were once prominent champions of abstinence, and purity rings were a crucial part of their squeaky clean image. However, as Nick and Joe grew up they quietly slipped off their promise rings.

Joe has had a string of high profile girlfriends—Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Ashley Greene—and many fans seriously doubted that he remained pure in the eyes of God, as they say. Thanks to two obnoxious Australian radio personalities, now we have confirmation. So does Joe still wear his purity ring? Of course not, he's 21!

Joe sounded cool and composed up until the hosts popped the question, at which point he started stuttering, choosing his words carefully.

"Oh, you know, I… That was something that we grew up with and just like anything I think you take some and leave some as you get older," Joe replied. "I'm at a place in my life now where I'm making decisions on my own but I'm of course happy with the things I grew up with and I'm not ashamed of my past at all."

In other words, can everyone please forget about that already? I'm not a teenage slave of the Disney company anymore.

Demi Lovato Confessions: ‘Joe Jonas is Small, Smoked Weed with Miley Cyrus’

The troubled Disney star allegedly poured her heart out in rehab and revealed that everything you pretty much assumed is true. A confidant at Timberline Knolls spilled all of Demi’s confessions to The Dirty.

According to this anonymous fellow rehabber, Demi talked openly about all the things that plagued her including cutting, Joe Jonas’ penis size, smoking pot with Miley Cyrus, trying cocaine and heroin at a party and the back-up dancer beat down.

On the fact that those jelly bracelets weren’t the source of those marks on her arms: “She was bullied when she was younger which caused her to physically “relieve stress”(cutting) throughout the age of 11 to 18.”

On having sex with Joe Jonas who used her: “She openly admitted to members and patients in rehab, that she has had sexual intercourse with Joe Jonas and it started since the beginning of camp rock. That they would frequently do it and that the Jonas Brothers Purity ring was complete crap. None of the brothers followed that rule and was a “publicity gain” to make fans and more endorsements come in that was enforced by their father who was Demi’s manager. Joe and Demi dated earlier in the beginning of the Camp Rock Rise of Fame but she revealed that he was a “player who was in it for sexual gain” and his penis was “small”. She said he did the same to Taylor Swift, Camella Bell but Ashley Greene cheated on him with her ex, Jared Followill.

On smacking the back up dancer, Alex Welch: “Demi told staff that she had been frequent partying and had an experience with drugs and that Alex Welch threatened to tell Her family, manager and people from Disney; but Demi responded that it was “none of her business” and than physically attacked her which she realized was her breaking point and that she needed help.”

On the fact that salvia isn’t the only thing Miley Cyrus smokes: “She was a frequent marijuana user and would “smoke weed with Miley Cyrus”. She also tried ‘Cocaine and Heroin’ at a party but decided she hated it.”

Now lets all throw this some ‘well, duh’ and remember that the source was in rehab with Demi so the likelihood he/she would concoct a confessional of what we pretty much already knew in exchange for Dark Eyes Vodka and coupon for a free appetizer at Chili’s is a factor.

Wow Joe Jonas: Q102 Q&A 2011

Joe Jonas gets quizzed by fans at the Q102 Radio live Q&A session in Philadelphia, Penn., on Thursday afternoon (July 14).

Earlier in the day, the 21-year-old musician was spotted at SiriusXM in NYC promoting his upcoming debut album, Fast Life.

Joe also recently sat down with AOL to chat about silly ‘rivalries’ that don’t exist. “That’s funny. I’ve been through it a couple of times; the same thing happened to us with Hanson. We had a conversation with Hanson and said we had nothing against them, and [they told us] the same thing happened with them and *NSYNC [with a fake rivalry]. And same thing for [Justin] Bieber. He’s doing him, and that’s all that really matters. As long as you’re independent artists, then you’re fine.”

Joe Jonas Puts Justin Bieber Rivalry to Bed 2011

It's time to let that infamous Justin Bieber/Jonas Brothers rivalry go, because according to Joe Jonas, it never existed.

"That's funny," the middle Jonas brother tells AOL of the supposed beef. "I've been through it a couple of times; the same thing happened to us with Hanson. We had a conversation with Hanson and said we had nothing against them, and [they told us] the same thing happened with them and *NSYNC [with a fake rivalry].

"And same thing for Bieber," he adds. "He's doing him, and that's all that really matters. As long as you're independent artists, then you're fine."

"I don't even think there's much comparison with Bieber," he adds, "because there's totally a big age difference -- there's a similar fanbase, but a lot of his fans are a little bit younger."

Jonas believes his solo debut, 'Fast Life,' should put an end to the chatter once and for all. "[My] songs are a bit more mature," he says. "The things that I speak about ... I really hope 11-year-olds aren't relating to them, or their parents are going to have to talk. I'm 21, so [I sing about] things a 21-year-old would deal with. And if an 11-year-old or whatever wants to listen to my music, that's great, I'm more than happy. I just feel the core audience is going to be a little older."

Clearly eager to embrace his maturity, Jonas goes so far as to describe himself as the "old man on campus" when it comes to the pop world. He also can't help but weigh in on the next generation of pop stars waiting in the wings.

"Everybody has to go through their own experiences, good and bad, to become the artists they want to become, or the person they want to become. Sometimes I definitely look at artists -- not naming names -- but I just go, 'Oh man, I can see where this is going!'

"It's kind of cool to see that I'm in a more mature area of my life. It feels like as I grow up so does my music and so do my fans, and it's a good feeling."
