WHY IS SHE FAMOUS | Bianca Stephanie

BIOGRAPHY:
Bianca Stephanie Beauchamp was born on October 14, 1977, in Montreal, Quebec. A self-described “scrapper,” Bianca spent most of her childhood with the boys in her neighborhood, playing ball and climbing trees. Although her parents never had much money, they did the best to provide for Bianca and hersiblings. “My parents made sure that our weekends were spent as much as possible outside the city,” she says. “We always had more than enough food on our plates and we had fun activities.”

WHY IS SHE FAMOUS:
Bianca Beauchamp is as synonymous with latex as Henry Ford is with the automobile. In the past 10 years, this Montreal-bornfetish model has helped popularize the stretchy, skin-tight material through her popular website. “I never thought my website would become popular,” she admits. “My website was just a fun way to express myself and my love for latex.”
It comes then as no shock that Bianca Beauchamp made our Top 99 list of Most Desirable Women in 2008. She rose from No. 31 to No. 24 when AskMen.com released our 2009 list.

life is brief but when it's gone, love goes on and on

It's a wee bit of a collage overload, but ya can't get sick of Jimi!

Sometimes I think it was unfair for God to have ever made Jimi Hendrix. Someone as fantastically beautiful and talented as he was could never have lasted long, and after just giving us a taste of Jimi’s brilliance, God took him away. But moments like these are usually fleeting and are overpowered by my love of this man. Yeah, yeah, I know he was a guitar virtuoso who advanced music a lot, yadda yadda yadda. But I will temporarily ignore this, instead focusing on the intense beauty of Mr. Hendrix. Day-uhmm, he was fine (only Jimi Hendrix warrants this statement ever being uttered by me). I mean, he was simply gorgeous. And his style – I have never seen a man dressed so well. He wore wide-brim hats with plume feathers, tasseled military jackets, gold medallions, velvet coats, paisley headscarves, heavy threads - basically every one of my most lusted-after sixties items (i.e. if I could go back in time and rob 'Granny Takes a Trip' and 'I Was Lord Kitchener's Valet', this is what I would steal...)
I again curse my way-too-late birth because I feel like we would have made really beautiful babies. And I mean that seriously.

Title: from "Love" (I believe it's from Robin Hood... yeah, go ahead, judge away)

Auto Donation To Charity Rules Have Changed

Many people wonder what to do with their vehicle which is there unused from a couple of months. This is a very common condition when you suddenly buy a new vehicle and don’t require the old one or the one which you are presently driving needs replacement. In such case donating the vehicle for the work of charity makes out to be the best thing you could do with your old vehicle. Donating your vehicle to the charity helps the charity do many important works for our community, the needy and the disabled.

Donating a vehicle is indeed a great value you add to your vehicle and get the satisfaction of helping the society. It is a way of showing you care and giving something back to the society. So if you are ready to donate your auto to a charity here is a little information which will definitely help you in managing this noble cause

• Vehicle donation can be done to any non profit charity across the United States.
• Vehicles to be donated can include cars, trucks, SUV’s, RV’s, trailers, boats, motorcycle, Vans etc.
• For a greater benefit of the charity you have selected to donate your vehicle to, ensure that your vehicle is in running condition which will fetch more value to your vehicle.
• Most of the charities accept both running and non running vehicles but for the later one the potential value is first estimated.
• Donating a vehicle is a better way of creating a difference other than selling it which may be a difficult task.

• Your vehicle received by the charity as a part of donation is sold in a auction where the highest bidder gets the vehicle and the charity the money which it can use for a noble cause.
• There are many organizations like the vehicle-donation.us which make the task of donating a vehicle a lot much easier for both the donator and the charity.
• You are entitled to get some tax benefits by donating your vehicle. Generally, the amount you may deduct for a vehicle contribution depends upon what the charity does with the vehicle. Charities typically sell donated vehicles. If the vehicle is sold by the charitable organization, the deduction claimed by the donor usually may not exceed the gross proceeds from the sale.
• For more information on tax benefits on vehicle donations see Publication 526, Charitable Contributions, Publication 561, Determining the Value of Donated Property, and Publication 4303, A Donor’s Guide to Car Donations, available on IRS.gov
• The Vehicle Donation Program helps support the services the charities provide in communities across America.
• Your vehicle donation not only helps you but it helps the needy to a great deal. And every time you remember that you have donated a vehicle for a noble cause you will have the satisfaction of contributing something to the community.

What do stay-at-home-moms DO?!

We're unpacked. The house is clean (enough). I've had at least 15 visits from friends and family since we moved in a month ago. I take trips to places like the grocery store (woohoo), Target (bigger woohoo) and a museum ($$$)...

BUT I'M BORED.

I used to watch kids during the day. I never, ever got a moment to sit down and relax. I cherished those moments. Now I'm pulling my hair out, looking for something to do other than cook and clean. I am no longer motivated to do anything! What's wrong with me?!

I'm in CHICAGO. I see the hustle and bustle of the city from my window every day, but what am I supposed to do with a toddler when it's 14 degrees outside? I try to take advantage of "free days" at museums and such, but I still end up spending $40-50. I cannot wait for summer. Alex only lets me play with him for 30 mins at a time. I'm kicking myself for teaching that kid to be so independent. ;) I'm going a little crazy. I seriously watched the TYRA show yesterday. (whimper)

Vintage Jerseys

What ever happened to Starter and Champion? It’s like once New Era, Mitchell & Ness and Nike came into the fitted/jersey business they forgot to step their game up. Granted their quality was trash with jersey's barely lasting a year on the playground. That dreaded peeling off numbers and logos was always a reason to avoid them. Still I love going to the local "bohemian used clothing" market in the city and finding jerseys from the early 90's. My first jersey was a Penny Hardaway black away jersey from Starter. I absolutely loved it because Penny was my favorite player, since MJ was still playing baseball. I had gotten the jersey with a pair of Orland Magic shorts, which really looked nice (and not cheesy). I can’t remember what eventually happened to my jersey, other than I grew out of it and must have thrown it away. Today I don’t own many jerseys but I can still appreciate them, especially one’s from my heyday love of the NBA of the late 80’s to 90’s. A website that I like to visit that is filled with an appreciation of all those vintage jerseys is straightcashhomey.net. Besides the jerseys worn by people on the street, I like how random the jerseys can be. It’s nice to see something besides the superstar players all the time.
